I would love a new Metal Gear Online - i thought the PS3 version was close to perfect with its mix of stealth, ranged weapons and close combat.

Nintendo keep making minor tweaks to the hardware and releasing it like its something new and amazing when in relaity its the same old shit but with a camera.
A PSP2 needs to be something technically outstanding just like the original PSP was when it was released.

God Of War: Chains of Olympus is on a par with either of the PS2 GOW games and Wipeout Pulse looks as good as Wipeout HD on the PS3.

I would have had at least one of the MGS games in that list and maybe the first God Of War.
I would have had any of the MGS games and Final Fantasy Games in that list.
MGS2 intro and FF 8 both had epic intro's
Prototype was definatly more fun - especially the combat and different powers, but Infamous was a better game overall for its story, graphics, and better game engine.
I do hope there is a Prototype 2, i just hope they make it a better all round experience rather than just a sandbox where you can rip people apart in entertaining ways.
It dosnt NEED a second stick. All the games i have for my PSP play just fine with the controls it has.
Anyway a second stick hardly justifies an entirely new system and since the current system is still cranking out awesom looking games like MGS and GOW then PSP2 is a looooong way off.
Resistance is a decent franchise but its nowhere near GOTY quality.
Resistance 2 was pretty awful in my opinion.

They have massive AAA games like MGS, GOW, VC all coming out on the PSP and you think a PSP2 is iminent ? PSP2 is not even a rumour, its just wishful thinking.
PSP go is a great system btw. If you want to physical media then stick with the 3000, if you want the most portable option then get the Go - I did.
you do know that you can track what your friends are doing, send messages, and have text chat rooms all on PSN too right ?

The game looks like a good next gen Silent Hill, nothing more, nothing less.
Now i love Silent Hill games but the people who were hailing Alan Wake as some kind of video games revolution look very silly now.
FF7 solo dosnt need a remake but i wouldnt mind seeing the entire FF7 compilation remastered in HD and put on one blu-ray disk.

With this game, Valkyria Chronicles 2, new God Of War game then it seems to me that there is a lot of support for the PSP.
For anyone thinking that a PSP2 is going to be shown at E3 then your kidding yourself, its clear that Sony has plans to keep supporting the PSP for a long time. As a handheld its still light-years ahead of the competition so i just dont see a sucessor for another few years.

The comparison between Sony and Sega isnt really valid since Sega had already completely destroyed customer faith in their products with the appalling Mega CD, 32X,and then the Saturn. Sega built its fanbase on the Megadrive (genesis) and then basically shat all over them with some of the worst business decisions ever made, anyone who invested in a Sega product got burned so by the time they got to the Dreamcast then they had already dug their own grave.
